The idea was born over a few ‘chinks’ with Jack Medland to move the everyday high performance short board lovers onto a recreational surf craft built for fun and even a sense of experimental surfboard history.

The Moon Spoon is a combination of traditional and modern performance surfboard putting it up there with the most enjoyment a surfboard can offer.

The entry having a hint of low rocker lift with a full moon like vee roll through the front half making for a free-flowing feel. Then transitioning with a slight single in central section of the hull to maintain stability and drive foiling into an extreme mix of vee-double out the tail for liveliness.

Foil is full and old school with a dropped rail line and super sharp edge allowing it to hold through slightly more hollow and steeper surf that the waves down south provide lots of.

Classic old school lines and contours make up the outline that we can custom tweak into a myriad of variations for customers ideas and waves intended for.

After all this is an experimental, fun design so we welcome any ideas and concepts to add to its evolution.
